Working in partnership with Hereford City Council, the Parish Council and the Rural Enabler, DB Land and Planning identified this side, secured an option and in 2011 secured a planning permission on the site and managed all of the S.106 and legal processes. The difficulties as always on a rural exception site was storm water drainage. Most of the water was retained on site and access across third party land was required to drain the balance which had to be agreed with the owners. South Shropshire Housing Association acquired the land from DB Land and Planning and developed 8 properties for local people.
